RUSSELL BRAND and FOOD

At a Christmas drinks party Russell Brand was discussed - and I found that the ladies love Russell in the UK. He has opened up avenues that allow other discussions to take place. We are very pleased that he came home to England to live again.

Children inspired and people of all ages got talking about the different issues that face humanity.

However it does beg the question Russell are you growing your own food - and are you planning on creating an intentional community to do so.

As we know people have been creating intentional communities since the 60's in the UK - so it is nothing new to the people that know. However - the time is now with food costs so high that people are again looking at the future and where they will be. Not only the cost but also what the corporations have done to the food.

What will you do Russell when the floods come - how will you prepare our people for the ice caps going and the water rising.

In the 90's many spiritual people were sharing the new millennium prophecies and it was interesting to hear how many people from the UK had dreams of floods. One woman even saw England being split in three pieces - becoming three Islands. I was simply amazed at my lectures at how many people were really awake about the floods that were predicted to come upon this land.

At that time it was also featured in the national press of what would happen to the East of England if the water rose 10 metres - all the East side would be gone. If the water rises 20 metres what then - devastation of the UK.

So Russell in what locations do you suggest that people start their localized farming. In the 60's some went to Scotland and we already know that the plates under the North Sea have been moving for a long time. Some even saw the land of Scotland tip right up and the South country go under water completely.

Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce predicted that the water would come up as far as the Olympic festivities and Cayce predicted that the Thames would become the South coast.

At the very least all children should be taught first aid - and as many children as possible trained in the rescue services. Children have to be taught how to survive in these last days of the end times - prepared and ready for every eventuality dauntlessly. Many single British mums were left to bring up their children alone and without any male support. So where are the guys for the children and to show them what to do and how to do it.

There were certain agreements made on the ecological developments by governments - yet when my son looked at the possibility of doing an eco-building training course at college - there were no training courses available on true self-sustainable housing and building.

At Christmas we were discussing apprenticeships and how cooking and housekeeping was removed from schools. How children used to do woodworking and metal working - how the girls did sewing - knitting - crochet and learned how to make their own clothes.  Taking food out of schools had an obvious impact that supported the corporations intentions to give the children processed foods.

As we know the body was made to process food and not eat processed foods and now it is clear from the scientists that processed food that the corporations have provided has had a major impact on the vast increase in autism - especially in America where its rate of growth appears to be unstoppable. At least over a million Americans are now living off the grid and are self-sustainable.

If I had known in my early 30's what I know now - I would've moved to an intentional community when my son was a baby. However in those days everyone had their dreams and were fulfilling them. So we can look back in hindsight and ask what would or could I have done differently.

Recently I had a dream of friends buying a healing hotel and in it their family and friends were altogether. So small family hotels with some land to grow food together are also for consideration by those that are seriously wishing to move forward in an appropriate way together.

Uniting families again for an ecological purpose could be simply divine.

NORTH EAST SOUP

On Boxing Day a sparrow came and sat on my branch outside my kitchen window - he was asking me to turn around and go in the direction of the East. 

In the direction of the East is where I began my first business and those that followed it. That direction is the direction of the teacher - its also the direction of the creatives and art. As well as the university where the human rights lawyers are said to exist. The East the mothers and dads of children - the families. 

On Christmas day we unlocked the Brussels that my son had brought - although he said that he would not eat them. This evening I asked where is the orange juice. The carton of orange juice was meant to be included in a carrot and cumin soup. He said that he had drunk it. 

Ok so what does mum do now. Inventive creative time is upon the teacher so mum has to be inventive and creative again. 



I was going to dedicate this soup to my son and the children born in 1983. 

However - the Sparrow has been an inspiration with his love and another director that I once knew this Christmas period. So I shall call the soup 'North East' soup due to it being dedicated to two men that were special in my life. The first man was the best man at my wedding - the other man was a client and a dear friend in my heart. 

The recipe includes the following:

A bowl of grated carrot
The stock from a real chicken.
1 tablespoon of soya 
I tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of cumin
Rock salt and black pepper to taste
A pan full of water
Two large cloves of garlic sliced and chopped small.
Two small potatoes cut small. 
Two clementines - the segments. 
Hand full of spaghetti in small pieces. 
8 Brussels sprouts sliced.


CLEMENTINE 



You can mash the ingredients while cooking.


The spaghetti was included when the soup was tasting good. Afterwards sliced brussels sprouts were included as I found the soup to be very sweet - and I kept on including more water to it during the cooking.


Let it simmer until it suits your taste buds. Adding the sliced brussels towards the end gave the soup more balance and it really is delicious. Be creative -- be inventive with your cooking.


A wonderful soup and so easy and simple to make. So good for you and filled with nutrition.


I've had two bowlfuls with a couple of slices of bread. Its the kind of soup that you can eat and eat - again and again. It has mummies special touch!

BUY BRITISH DAIRY

British Dairy Farmers call for the Brits to buy British.

That reminds me of the vision that I was given of a milk churn some years ago.

I do indeed support our British farmers as much as possible.

However - when I looked at the pack of sultanas the other day - they were from China of all places.

If there is something that our farmers don't grow in the UK - I try to buy from a European country or a fair trade.

I don't drink a lot of milk - although I like it poured on oats and for cooking.

Butter I do like and cheeses.

AUTISM and GLYPHOSATE

At the beginning of the new millennium it became clear when it was shown to me - that the Italian farmers put the food of the people first; due to the Italians having the greatest organic crops. 

In fact - Italy was the most organic crop in Europe at that time. It stands to reason that Italian farmers have stayed more true to the real teachings of Jesus and his seed than America has done. 

However I am pleased to write that it was America and an American that shared this news with us about the Autism prediction - and the involvement of the glyphosate. 


CANTINA 

2014 

Organic seeds provide a different outcome to Monsanto and its GMO. 

There is now scientific evidence that predict that 50% of children will be autistic by 2025. Did you get the memo America. A Senior Research Scientist at MIT shares that the evidence points to 'glyphosate toxicity from the overuse of Monsanto's Roundup herbicide on food crops'.


'Dr. Seneff’s presentation, “All of the 70 or so people in attendance were squirming, likely because they now had serious misgivings about serving their kids, or themselves, anything with corn or soy, which are nearly all genetically modified and thus tainted with Roundup and its glyphosate.”

Dr. Seneff noted the ubiquity of glyphosate’s use. Because it is used on corn and soy, all soft drinks and candies sweetened with corn syrup and all chips and cereals that contain soy fillers have small amounts of glyphosate in them, as do our beef and poultry since cattle and chicken are fed GMO corn or soy. Wheat is often sprayed with Roundup just prior to being harvested, which means that all non-organic bread and wheat products would also be sources of glyphosate toxicity. The amount of glyphosate in each product may not be large, but the cumulative effect (especially with as much processed food as Americans eat) could be devastating.' 

Glyphosate is present in unusually high quantities in the breast milk of American mothers, at anywhere from 760 to 1,600 times the allowable limits in European drinking water. Urine testing shows Americans have ten times the glyphosate accumulation as Europeans.

“In my view, the situation is almost beyond repair,” Dr. Seneff said after her presentation. “We need to do something drastic.”

CARMEL BRUSSELS

I haven't liked Brussels since I was a child. I would sit at the table for what seemed like hours after everyone else had left the table. I wasn't allowed to leave the table until I had cleared my plate. So the brussels got pushed around and around the plate for what seemed like hours. I couldn't even bare the smell of them when I was a child.



Haven't been keen on them even as an adult. So what did my son buy for Christmas vegetables - he said that the shop didn't have any parsnips and that he got brussels instead. So I looked at some recipes to see what I could find - I finished up coming up with my own recipe for the brussels and how I could sweeten them up.

However - what I have discovered in the cooking is that brussels were never meant to be boiled. They always were meant to be baked in the oven. Although my son's dad used to eat them raw.

I have to say this recipe is delicious and I never ever thought I would ever say that brussels are delicious. I've called the recipe 'Carmel Brussels' due to the carmelized onions. I only made a small amount for two just as a taster to see whether I liked the recipe. Although my son said that it didn't matter what I did to the brussels - he would not eat that which he bought. Children hey - big smiles!

So the unlocking of the brussels - and what is required to unlock their sweet flavor.

Sliced one and half onions.
Tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of honey
Pink salt and black pepper to taste
Gratin dish of Brussels
2+ heaped tablespoons of oats

Saute your onions in the olive oil - add the balsamic - salt and pepper. When they begin to soften add your honey and continue to saute - stirring well and turning the onion mixture over.

Peel your brussels while the onions are cooking.

When the onions are carmelized and ready - cover the brussels with the onions in a dish that can go in the oven. Then sprinkle the ingredients in the gratin dish with oats.  While the dish is cooking in the oven - turn the ingredients over and do this a few times until the brussels soften - eventually the mixture is also mixed up together.

Truly it is delicious - roasted oats - carmel onions and brussels sprouts.

See maybe if my mum had made those brussels sweet - maybe I would've eaten them when I was child. Why didn't she think of that. Its so simple to me.

'A half a cup of brussels sprouts provides 48 milligrams of immunity building vitamin C - more than 80 per cent of daily value. It also provides 47 micrograms of folate - 12 per cent of the dv. Folate is essential for tissue growth". 

Little things please humble hearts - and the unlocking of the brussels today - was so pleasing. Finally I can eat them and say yes - that was lovely. What a thing to happen on Christmas day.

MARY SEACOLE SOUP

The homemade soup this week is celery-swede and coconut cream soup. I dedicate this recipe to Mary Seacole - the nurse of mixed color who was a nursing pioneer in medicine and an inspiration for the NHS. 

Mary worked with tropical diseases and physical injuries of the men during the Crimean war. So children around the world might ask why did we only hear about Florence Nightingale . 

Was it because Mary was an incredible natural healer that healed animals in her childhood. 


Was it because Mary was of mixed color. Or was it because she was more successful at nursing people in her healing hotel. We surely have the right to ask the historians of the British nation - why wasn't Mary Seacole given the same charitable funding and support that Florence Nightgale was given. 

Why hasn't Mary been honored as the great woman that she was. Is it because she knew the importance of food in the recovery of patients. Could she do things that her wholly British counterparts were not doing at that time. 


Is it because the great work of the woman was more powerful than anything that they had seen before. We are aware that Florence did not approve of Mary's unconventional methodology. Is that because the supporters of Florence didn't approve of the methods. 

Mary Seacole worked with vibrational medicine in the same way that I have done during my career as a healer. What did Reiki Master Teachers - teach our students - to give healing to the food that we eat. We blessed the food that we shared and gave thanks for it. Making sure that everything that we ate was healthy for the people on the training courses.


Seacole had both a Caribbean and Scottish heritage and she loved England. I have more in common with the great healing work of Mary Seacole than any medical doctor I've ever met. 


Its clear that Mary was intuitive and was probably clairvoyant as well. When she met Florence she said that she was looking for the 'Hollander in the darkness'. So what do the historians have to say about that. 

Our Mary Seacole soup is Celery - Swede and Coconut Cream Soup. 


RECIPE 


Half of a large swede diced. 

Large pan of water
Two large cloves of garlic 
2 thirds of a celery (I'd already eaten a third of it fresh) slices. 
A few green cabbage leaves for extra color and flavor - cut thinly. 
Pink salt and black pepper to suit your taste. 
Carton of Coconut Cream 

Cook until all ingredients are soft - I don't have a food processor - so I mash with a potato masher during 

cooking. When cooked - add a carton or tin of coconut cream. 250ml 

CELERY


The compounds in celery hold up well during cooking. Celery has potassium - Vit C and Calcium.




Celery contains "Phthalide" and it was scientifically found to relax the muscles of the arteries and allow vessels to dilate. It reduces 'stress hormones' called 'catecholamines' in the blood. As such it is essential for people that are about to or have had operations. Celery is excellent for the adrenals that impact on the kidneys as well. I view celery as a great cleanser and detoxifier - fresh its crunchy and great with cream cheese to snack on.

SWEDE


A great root vegetable and its important to eat seasonal food whenever possible. The vibration of the seasons and the land on which you live. 



'Swede has a good mineral content including calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and manganese. It is low in saturated fat and relatively high in sugars. It also provides some fibre and vitamins A and C.'  

Interesting that in Scotland this hardy vegetable is known as 'NEEPS and I do like it mashed with butter with a sunday roast. 



COCONUT 

What can we say about coconut - the miracle worker. Just as Mary Seacole was a miracle worker. I even clean my teeth with coconut oil. Coconut is so versatile and I do like sate. Listen to Dr Bruce Fife he has written a book about it.

Salmon for Hanukkah

Salmon was reduced in price this week so I could afford some brain food for Hanukah and the Festival of Lights.

In the oven two salmon portions were cooked in butter and black pepper. Joseph has two portions one for today and one for tomorrow. The salmon was served with braised celery and a green salad with artichoke hearts with humous. Pitta bread accompanied it and it was delicious. Thank you LORD for providing for yours truly.




I've also had some cheese and biscuits with fresh dill and fresh dill enhances your appetite to eat. The fruit this week is lychees and they're wonderful for freshening the mouth. Especially if you have any mouth or teeth issues. Strawberry and banana smoothie to boost the potassium with the banana - lovely to drink the pink. So my meal has been very pink and green. My son also bought me some fruit pastilles  due to jelly being good for the back and I've been eating sultanas that I enjoy very much.

And the artichokes are also preventative as they hold a compound called 'Silymarin' and it is preventative in skin cancer. Folate is an essential for the nervous system. It is recommended that people should eat at least 400 micro-grams of folate rich foods everyday.

Salmon provides us with our Omega 3's and a 3 ounce serving provides 3 grams. The more deeply the color of the salmon the more Omega 3's it provides.

SURE START MUMS -v- CAMERON

I was blessed to be a consultant to Sure Start 2001- 2002 - so Sure Start - its mums - dads and children are truly in my heart. I saw how empowered they became with the 'New Empowerment Model' that I designed and implemented especially for them. The mums were engaged and made incredible progress and so did their children.

So what's happening Mums and Dads.


'More than 400 Sure Start children's centres have closed during the first two years of coalition government, with over half of those still open no longer providing any onsite childcare, according to Labour.
Despite claims by the prime minister, David Cameron, before the last general election that he "backed" Sure Start, Labour says £430m was cut from English local authority Sure Start budgets between 2010-11 and 2012-13'.

So David Cameron invests in children does he - how about investing in people - if that was true he would be healing the dough - and giving plenty of it to the Sure Start centers. Come on Mums and Dads - tell them its time to heal the dough. I will always defend your cause of giving your children a better future and a Sure Start.

When I was working with Sure Start it was fantastic.

Tell Cameron and his colleagues that he can keep his austerity cuts - he has to heal the dough. MP's have got enough dough - so make sure you have plenty of flour and oil. We just might have to cover those MP's in flour - if they don't provide you with your wonderful human rights - and honor the rights of the child.

We don't make money bombs in England - we make flour bombs. We like our herb dumplings and homemade stews. Those new agers have been stewing in their own juices for long enough - let's get this children's party moving. I like children's parties do you.

We know from the forensic scientist Judy Wood that they've got a powder weapon that brought the twin towers to dust. Well we've got a powder of our own - its called flour in the hands of love - our reality is heavenly.

NEW FOOD LAW

On the 11th December 2014 I had a 'Bistro Cafe' dream and that was the 'Day of Intensity'.







Now there is an announcement of a new EU law that will impact on restaurants and bars. The law orders restaurants and bars to highlight allergy-producing ingredients. 'They have to specify which foods on their menus could spark off allergic reactions in diners'. It has to be shown clearly on the menu - the  waiter must be able to inform diners clearly if asked. 

Three years ago Brussels gave member states of its compliance deadline and the European directive on food allergies has been adopted by Spanish national law. Spain's Hostelry Federation says it has been 'forced to commit' to compliance with a 'complex rule'. 


While we're on the subject - when you try to speak to cafe bar owners in the UK about healing foods - they just look at you blankly. Most establishments serve the people processed food - just like they do in hospitals. The body was meant to process food - not eat processed food. If people in hospitals and children in schools all ate home cooked food - wouldn't that increase the amount of jobs there are for the people. Wouldn't people be healthier again. 

I heard the other evening that people in hospital are being offered sandwiches - do they think that going into hospital is like going on a plane. Maybe they do - on - off - in and out - of the conveyor belt just like the food that people are given to eat in the public sector. Did you know that doctors only receive 2 hours training in nutrition when they do their medical degrees. Do you know that the government cuts and austerity measures are impacting upon the health of the nations - and in so doing costing more in the long run. The UK seriously has to heal the dough and knead it appropriately. 

Short term solutions have to be replaced with medium to long term solutions that are healing for the nations. The leaves truly are for healing the nations. 

In the UK there has been a fire at the British Sugar factory in the north. Its all happening with food.

Time to enJOY!

This blog is for sharing recipes - healing foods and anything else that is creative and fun. Its the cheerfulness blog of kneading the dough - and healing the dough. I have no plans - I shall allow it to evolve and see what happens with it. I do have other blogs - and they are serious.

This blog is light hearted - meant to be uplifting - fun. We shall laugh at ourselves and where humanity finds itself.



Life has become far too serious lately - and life is meant to be enjoyed! I've always enjoyed food very much indeed - and I like kneading the dough - especially the oats that your body requires to help you to absorb B12. Last week I made some wonderful malt oat savory biscuits 2 x 2 - to have with lemon garlic butter for the immune system. My adult son like sweet biscuits so he had coconut and almond oat cakes. Although I've already eaten half of them - he should be a lot quicker on the uptake. Food doesn't stay long in this kitchen. Big smiles!

I am really into healing foods and it has become a major aspect of my life when helping others to heal - miracles can truly manifest. Apart from taking a case history - the other aspect that I look at when looking at health conditions - is lifestyle and diet. Some friends have also asked me to write a book about my work with healing foods - and maybe one day I will.

So who knows how this will manifest - I am just going to let the joy flow in the peace of the well being.

This will be my new fun food blog for 2015. First post on the 8th and 2015 adds up to 8.

The template reminds me of the lovely Maple Mandala so I've included the painting. When I feel inspired further - I shall get the blog more organized. Hopefully before the end of the year.

I like the colors - its very sunny - warm and creative. In  2013-2014 - I also had lots of SUN paintings come in - so this is my sunny blog. The words 'Kneading the bread - Healing the bread' and Jesus said 'I am the bread of life'. Both Jesus and Elijah spoke of the importance of the flour and oil for women and to make sure that you have plenty of it. I'm sure that Magdalene gave Jesus plenty of kneading with her aromatherapy oils for healing.

A time to heal - a time to knead the bread - a time to knead the deep tissues of your body - a time to heal the dough. A time to enjoy your kneading and what it manifests. A time to invest in yourselves and others - putting your purest intention into the flour - putting your healing hands into the oil - combining your healing skills and talents to make the perfect recipes for your health and well-being.

Give it the love - give it the creativity - give it your healing hands. Give your food the therapeutic touch - and it will be therapeutic to you. Give it your creativity and it will be creativity to you. Give it - your power of love and the food that you eat with give you the power of its love. Give it the power of your intuition - and it will enhance your intuition for you. Give it - what you would like to receive from it.


Remember the oil that was given to Jesus - and how the Apostles complained about the cost of it. How the oil had been bought by the spiritual community for the healing of the poor. How the worthy funded the worthy healers to help the poor.

Jesus spoke of it in a heavenly context due to it being at the heart of the spiritual law. The numeric of 60 that is about the power of giving.

What you gives comes back to you 30 - 60 or 100 fold.

So have a happy Christmas and New Year and - make sure that you give to worthy healers that are worthy of your giving.

Support those that you can and love everyone that you can. You are able to love - you are able to give support and support is essential to uplift the communities. We shall support the communities the best way that we know how; and extraordinary women do extraordinary things in the power of love beyond measure.

Interesting the word for 'dough' is found in Sweden in a financial sense. We also find the word 'dough' as a slang word. Spoken of by London cockneys - and as the baby was born in London it is no surprise that we now have a 'Kneading the dough - Healing the Dough - blog. I really enjoy posting on the blogs and delivering the gifts to everyone that is interested in receiving the blessings from heaven.

Then we find the 'Dough Offering' in Hebrew - mitzvat terumat hallah 

Big smiles - my son likes coconut and almond biscuits made with oat flour and oil. When he was a child I used to make him - his friends and my friends - pizza. The other day the LORD asked for Samosa for thanksgiving. Samosa was made for shabbat and my son and I enjoyed the dough.


Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land where I bring you, then it shall be, that when you eat of the food of the land, you shall lift up an offering to the LORD. Of the first of your dough you shall lift up a cake as an offering; as the offering of the threshing floor, so you shall lift it up. From the first of your dough you shall give to the LORD an offering throughout your generations
